This space will be full of flavor, energy, and inspiration. The project is led by Apsys\u2014a leader in European historic restorations.  <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The 141 million PLN revitalization is another in Apsys\u2019s portfolio of transforming heritage sites into modern, vibrant destinations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Notably, Apsys spearheaded the iconic revitalization of the Israel Pozna\u0144ski factory in \u0141\u00f3d\u017a, now known as Manufaktura\u2014an achievement that cemented its position in Poland as a specialist in converting complex historic sites into thriving hubs thanks to expertise, determination, and creative vision. Apsys continues similar projects in Wroc\u0142aw (Nowa\u202fStawowa lofts) and in France (Solferino in Paris, Neyrpic in Grenoble, and the Canopia district in Bordeaux).    <\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>An Ambitious Mixed\u2011Use Project in Central Gda\u0144sk<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reviving the Hala Targowa is one of Poland\u2019s most ambitious mixed-use undertakings currently underway.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>\u201cEach project of this nature presents immense challenges and requires a bespoke approach. We balance the historic character of the building with modern sustainable technologies,\u201d   <\/em>says <strong>Cyryl Plumecoq, Operations Director<\/strong> at Apsys Poland.<em>. \u201cOur experiences in \u0141\u00f3d\u017a, Wroc\u0142aw, and France are crucial here.\u201d <\/em><em>.<\/em> <\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The revitalization began in January 2025, with sandblasting and drilling for geothermal heat pumps. This summer, structural work commenced\u2014reinforcing floors and extending the first level\u2014key for enabling the Hall\u2019s new gastronomic and cultural functions, yet invisible to the neighborhood.   <\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013 <em>\u201cEverything we undertake aims to breathe new life into the Hala Targowa. The scale is enormous, and working in a historic setting brings unexpected hurdles, but thanks to our experience, all stages are progressing as planned,\u201d  <\/em> explains <strong>Jan Oko, Project Manager at Apsys Poland.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>A Unique Culinary Concept<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The goal of the renovation is to establish a bold new culinary and cultural landmark in Gda\u0144sk. Hala will host an innovative food concept across three levels:   <\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Top floor: four full-service restaurants<br \/>Ground floor: a gastronomic hall with numerous global cuisine vendors<br \/>Level \u20131: the traditional market space\u2014fresh produce offered in a modernized format  <\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>\u201cEven before purchase, over 80% of the space was pre\u2011leased, illustrating investor confidence. Adapting historic kiosk stalls requires tailored solutions, but tenants appreciate the uniqueness and potential,\u201d   <\/em> says <strong>Katarzyna Kopszak\u2011Dziurnikowska, Head of Development<\/strong> at Apsys Poland.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Apsys\u2019s expertise in mixed-use revitalization is evident in projects like Pozna\u0144\u2019s Food Fyrtel and Manufaktura\u2019s Market Square, which feature dozens of gastronomic concepts, as well as Paris\u2019s Boom Boom Villette, offering both food and entertainment. <\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013 <em>\u201cRevitalizing the Market Hall is more than an investment \u2014 it reshapes urban fabric. We\u2019re creating sustainable, vibrant spaces that honor heritage and serve the public,\u201d     <\/em>adds Katarzyna Kopszak\u2011Dziurnikowska.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Right Team and Creative Vision. Interior design is by Boris Kudli\u010dka with Partners, renowned for public and cultural design in Poland and beyond. The founder, scenographer Boris Kudli\u010dka, is a long-time collaborator with Warsaw\u2019s National Opera and soon-to-be its director (as of September).    <\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Managing Complex Heritage Work<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Apsys\u2019s seasoned project management is key in coordinating restoration within Gda\u0144sk\u2019s city center, requiring compliance with the Conservator of Monuments\u2019 guidelines. Initial physical restoration included: <\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sandblasting steel structure<br \/>84 geothermal boreholes to 100\u202fm<br \/>Careful arch\u00e6ological excavation  <\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013 <em>\u201cEach borehole was documented and analyzed.
