Apsys announces that the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) has validated the greenhouse gas emission reduction targets set by the Group for its own development and commercial property management activities in France and Poland, which account for more than 80% of its revenue. <\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

This step confirms that Apsys\u2019s decarbonisation pathway is aligned with the science-based framework for limiting global warming to +1.5\u00b0C, in accordance with the standard developed specifically for the real estate sector \u2013 the SBTi Buildings Sector Science-Based Target-Setting Criteria.<\/p>\n

This is a significant milestone in Apsys\u2019s climate strategy: the company joins the still very small group of real estate companies whose decarbonisation pathways have been validated under the new SBTi Buildings standard. As a private, unlisted family-owned company, Apsys is demonstrating its readiness to voluntarily make some of the most ambitious climate commitments in the industry, in line with its long-term vision as an asset owner. <\/p>\n

Apsys\u2019s ambitions translate into reduction targets for 2035, set against a 2022 baseline:<\/p>\n

– <\/span>80.9% in \u201cIn-use Operational\u201d emissions, related to the operation of its own assets (in kg CO\u2082\/m\u00b2);<\/p>\n

– <\/span>66.3% in \u201cUpfront Embodied\u201d emissions, related to the delivery of construction projects (in kg CO\u2082\/m\u00b2).<\/p>\n

Apsys has also committed to no longer installing new fossil fuel-based heating systems across its entire property portfolio.<\/p>\n

A pathway supporting the transition <\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

In the face of the climate crisis, Apsys has for several years been working to measure, understand and reduce its carbon footprint. Aligned with a +1.5\u00b0C warming scenario, the decarbonisation pathway for its own development and property management activities covers all three scopes: direct emissions, indirect energy-related emissions and indirect value chain emissions linked to the energy used to operate the properties and to the delivery of construction projects. Its validation by SBTi confirms that it meets the scientific requirements for limiting global warming. <\/p>\n

This validation is another step in Apsys\u2019s climate strategy. Achieving the targets will rely primarily on continuing the measures already under way to improve the energy efficiency of assets, increase the use of renewable energy, reduce the carbon footprint of development projects and fully integrate climate considerations into investment and management decisions. Beyond reducing emissions, this approach aims to increase the energy efficiency and resilience of the properties and to meet the expectations of local communities, users and investors. <\/p>\n

A long-term perspective<\/b><\/p>\n

As an independent family-owned company, Apsys has been developing a long-term vision of the real estate market for thirty years. The validation of climate targets for its own development and commercial property management activities demonstrates the Group\u2019s determination to anticipate the changes taking place in the real estate sector and to base its decarbonisation process on recognised scientific frameworks over the long term. <\/p>\n

Apsys will monitor its climate indicators and report regularly on its progress to its stakeholders.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis validation confirms the alignment of the decarbonisation pathway set by Apsys for its own development and commercial property management activities. The targets are now clearly defined: an 81% reduction in carbon emissions from operating properties and a 66% reduction in carbon emissions from development activities by 2035 (compared with 2022). Our priority now is to translate this pathway into measurable results through concrete action.\u201d <\/i><\/p>\n

Apsys Poland<\/i><\/b> has been operating on the market since 1996 as an investor, developer and manager of commercial real estate, and also provides advisory services and expert support in the field of urban space solutions. <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Apsys\u2019s flagship projects in Poland include Manufaktura in \u0141\u00f3d\u017a, Posnania in Pozna\u0144 and the regenerated Hala Targowa Enjoy, opened in summer 2026, which combines local retail, food and culture in the historic setting of the 130-year-old market hall in Gda\u0144sk. <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n
